  • Journey 2 Freedom (J2F) is a faith-based one-hour recovery meeting that focuses on providing support for those suffering with all forms of addictive and/or compulsive behaviors. This is an open forum meeting and is design to bring positive encouragement to those who are currently on the “Journey 2 Freedom.”

  • Let’s TALK Addiction & Recovery Series
    “Faith in Recovery”

    Addiction crosses all cultural barriers which includes race, social economic status and faith. In fact, there is a wide spectrum of reasons why someone falls into addiction. While the well-off tend to hide it better, and the less fortunate tend to be arrested more, it’s still there, in every pocket and corner of our community. So please join us as we discuss how the services provided by ROC Recovery Center benefit you, those we serve and the community.

  • The ROC Recovery Center Presents:
    “Taking a Leap of Faith” Against Addiction

    The ROC Recovery Center will take the message of HOPE to the community on Friday, February 28th from 10am until 2pm at Vogel Park in downtown Medford! We will handing out addiction recovery education information and be available to answer questions about this community‐wide epidemic.

    At 12:30pm A PRAYER OF REMEMBRANCE will take place for those who we have lost to drug overdose, for those who still find themselves caught in addiction and for the families that are affected by addiction.

  • An ADDICT in the Family Workshop
    Hosted by ROC Recovery Center

    Topics to be discussed include: An addicts brain, the effects of dopamine on brain activity and an addict behavior, what is abnormal to us in their behavior can often be normal to the addict.

  • CCAR Recovery Coach Academy | Peer Support Training | April 2020

    This comprehensive training will equip attendees with skills to effectively provide recovery coaching to individuals seeking drug and alcohol addiction treatment and/or prevention.

    The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy, Peer Support Training is a 5 – day intensive training which focuses on providing each participant with the knowledge and skills needed to guide, support, encourage and sustain a persons long-term recovery from any form of addiction behaviors. Included in your approved curriculum originating and created by Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) are objectives such as; roles and functions of a recovery coach, core values & guiding principles of recovery, skills to enhance relationships, discovering attitudes around self-disclosure; understanding the dimensions of recovery & recovery coaching; the stages of recovery, ethical & boundary issues, trauma informed care, and the awareness of culture, power & privilege.
